CLEVELAND – Blue Spark Technologies has received a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for TempTraq, the company’s wearable Bluetooth-enabled temperature monitor. “This historic milestone in our corporate evolution helps us to secure a more competitive position in the wearable connected health space,” said John Gannon, CEO of Blue Spark Technologies, in a statement. TempTraq continuously senses, records and sends body temperature for up to 24-48 hours to a mobile device through its free app. A 72-hour version is being tested in hospitals. “We are now a major player and the sole developer of this technology, empowering us to improve and transform health care for people of all ages,” said Gannon.
