SAN DIEGO – Bobby Ghoshal has been named ResMed’s first chief technology officer and will lead the company’s global health care informatics and data analytics team, as well as investments in emerging health technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning. “Bobby has played several key roles in ResMed’s emergence as a world-leading connected health company this past decade, and we’re excited to appoint him as our new CTO,” said Mick Farrell, CEO of ResMed, in a statement. Since 2016, Ghoshal has been COO at Brightree, a ResMed-owned provider of cloud-based, software-as-a-service provider for out-of-hospital care.
