OAKVILLE, Ontario – iCare Home Health has added a text-to-speech capability to its website to better serve its print disabled and visually impaired clients. “The audio technology is a natural fit on a website in the health care space and will best serve our growing client base and, specifically, the visually challenge demographic,” said Rick Menassa, iCare Home Health president, in a statement. A bright green “Listen” button has been added to all pages of the website. Visitors can click on the button to hear an entire page, or highlight a portion of the page to reveal a speaker.
