PLANO, Tex. – Reid Health, a health system that serves patients in parts of Ohio and Indiana, credits patient-friendly technology from Vivify Health for a 90% compliance rate with remote patient monitoring. “Remote patient monitoring is essential for keeping patients healthier and out of the hospital, but the technology must be easy, even enjoyable, for these patients to use,” said Billie Kester, vice president of continuum of care at Reid Health, in a statement. Reid Health has intentionally designed its continual care program to foster engagement and higher satisfaction among patients dealing with chronic conditions that have left them vulnerable to gaps in care between clinical visits. Each patient in the program receives a remote patient monitoring kit from Vivify Health that includes a tablet with animated videos that walk patients through an easy set-up, as well as various health devices to collect the patient’s health data.
