PARAMUS, N.J. – Valley Home Care, part of Valley Health System, will work with Health Recovery Solutions to upgrade its telehealth program and drive patient engagement. “What’s new to us is the convenience of the Bluetooth wireless system and the easy access to HRS Support, helping the patients and nurses work through any technical issues,” said Elaine Davis, telemanagement clinical coordinator for Valley Home Care, in a statement. HRS’s software allows clinicians to monitor a range of patient biometric values—including blood pressure, weight and oxygen level—and provide responses to daily symptom questions specific to a patient’s disease condition. It also allows nurses to use video chatting and wound imaging, so they can monitor patients closely.
