RED BANK, N.J. – VNA Health Group has partnered with cloud communications leader Vonage to support the non-profit’s Connected Health Institute.
“The Vonage partnership will help us advance state-of-the-art connected health solutions that will better link patients, their caregivers and doctors with our clinicians,” said Dr. Steven Landers, president and CEO of VNA Health Group.
VNA Health Group plans to sublet space in the Vonage Technology Center of Excellence to house its headquarters and other offices. Its Connected Health Institute is a digital health initiative that supports vulnerable elders and young families with telehealth, virtual visits, continuous wound monitoring and access to digital health apps.
Vonage will also participate in and lend its expertise to the Connected Health Institute’s advisory board.
Vonage will benefit from VNA’s onsite health education programs for its employees, including onsite vaccination clinics and health screenings. The collaboration will serve as an entrée to similar partnerships with other technology companies.
The move will bring together nearly 200 VNA employees who are currently scattered across multiple New Jersey office locations. While the clinical staff will continue to work in homes and communities around the state, the administrative staff will support them from the new headquarters.
“Like Vonage, VNA has strong ties to the community, which is a natural fit for us as we look to leverage our status as a leader in business communications to strengthen our support of local community organizations and become a destination place to work,” said David Pearson, Vonage CFO and treasurer.
