MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – AliveCor has announced the U.S. launch of Kardia Pro, an artificial intelligence-enabled platform for doctors to monitor patients for the early detection of atrial fibrillation.
“The new platform enables doctors to be better doctors and patients to be more active participants in their own heart health, driving health care forward into the 21st century,” said Vic Gundotra, AliveCor CEO, in a statement.
AliveCor also announced $30 million in new Series D funding to continue rapid expansion of the business.
Kardia Pro tracks weight, activity and blood pressure. AI technology is also used to create a personal heart profile for each user, enabling user identification.
The device tracks electrocardiogram recordings and interpretations between patient visits and captures heart rate and symptoms.
