BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – St. Vincent’s Medical Center is offering a new digital health program to engage and connect families on a mobile device.
The provider is working with health media company Everyday Health and mobile health software provider Wildflower Health to sponsor a mobile app that connects families directly with care from their smartphones, enabling them to find local doctors, schedule urgent care visits and tap into virtual care.
The app was launched with mothers in mind, said Dianne Auger, senior vice president and chief strategy officer at St. Vincent’s, in a statement.
“The Grow Family Health Organizer is a powerful tool on mom’s smartphone, making it easy to track health milestones for every family member through daily health tips, trackers, reminders and more, invite other family members and connect with local health services,” said Auger.
The Growth Family Health Organizer is a mobile app produced by Wildflower Health. Everyday Health is promoting the app and services directly to the Bridgeport community.
“Wildflower’s apps help consumers connect to care when they need it on their mobile device,” said Leah Sparks, co-founder and CEO of Wildflower Health. “By partnering with St. Vincent’s to increase access to care and information, we can help make health care more consumer-centered, ultimately leading to enhanced patient experiences and higher clinical quality.”
