BOSTON – Medisafe has raised $14.5 million in Series B funding to support growth and expansion. The company provides a personalized medication management platform with more than 3.5 million patient and caregiver registered users.
“We will use the new capital to hire the best talent, enhance the platform’s capabilities and achieve our ambitious expansion goals globally,” said Omri Shor, CEO and co-founder of Medisafe, in a statement.
Medisafe’s platform educates patients about their condition and medications, shares their progress, offers tips, and curates prescription coupons and special offers.
Physicians can invite their patients to connect through the platform. Adherence information and other health data is automatically brought into their dashboard.
Medisafe will use the new funding to grow its sales and marketing teams, expand the platform’s capabilities and open a London office to capitalize on growing demand.
The company announced an expansion of its offering to pharmaceutical and life sciences companies in October.
