PARIS – Environmental technology company Plume Labs will use $4.5 million in recent Seed funding to expand its team of environmental and data sciences experts and help the company scale its next stage of growth.
“This funding gives us the means to bring our atmospheric forecasting platform to a global scale, and we’re excited to take on the most pressing environmental health issue of our time,” said Romain Lacombe, CEO and co-founder of Plume Labs, in a statement.
The Plume Air Report, Plume’s mobile app, helps consumers track their exposure to air pollution and forecast live air quality levels in 60 countries around the world.
Plume’s environmental forecasting platform, Plume Air Cloud API, helps organizations make better-informed environmental choices and promote cleaner products and services.
In addition to growing its team and scaling its growth, Plume will also use the Seed funding to leverage its environmental AI to introduce new, connected hardware products for environmental health over the coming year.
