SAN MATEO, Calif. – HealthCrowd has raised $7.2 million in funding to continue development and marketing of its health care communications platform-as-a-service. Health care organizations use HealthCrowd to communicate with their members and patients across modalities including text, voice, email and mobile web. The platform becomes more intelligent over time and can drive health actions with fewer touchpoints, according to Neng Bing Doh, co-founder and CEO of HealthCrowd. “The growth capital will allow us to make investments across key areas that are necessary to maintain our technology and market leadership,” Doh said in a statement.
